Sometimes you just want to lie there and nothing, and that’s understandable!

Give yourself the time you need.

You don’t necessarily have to squash the need to lie down and rest, if that’s what your brain and body are saying they need. Sometimes you just need a little break!
HOWEVER
Try to avoid any social media doom scrolling while doing this.
The best thing to do would be to find a comfort media (show, movie, music, podcast, etc) to watch/listen to while rotting.
(You will see “comfort media” brought up in many of the other pages)
Try to only allow yourself to rot for up to 2 or 3 hours. You may need rest, but ruminating or sitting in your thoughts and mental state for eternity won’t do anything but hurt you.
